Special Events For 2012
Paul Robert Costanza Orchard is now selling Arkansas Black Twig Apples. Paul's orchard is part of the original Robert and Jackie Costanza Orchard that was planted in 1962 and is still in operation today.
Discovered in 1893 in Arkansas this dark red to black apple is crisp, delicious and perfect for eating, baking and cooking. The flavor peaks after 30 days in the refrigerator. They make a beautiful decorative arrangement with their special shape and shine. The smooth waxy finish that is ornamental when polished help these apples keep up to eight months when stored near 32 degrees. Call 505-410-9171. Click here for a map to the orchard. Costanza Orchard is one of the Middle Rio Grande's Largest Apple Orchards. The orchard was planted in 1962 by Robert and Jackie Costanza and is still in operation today. The harvest dates will be from September 1 to November 15th.
