Our Communities, States and Nation are facing a major threat to our food supply because of a combination of some or all of the following events and factors:

1.       Existing food sources (like corn and soy beans) being sold to make Biodiesel fuel.

2.       Existing farm land and orchards are being converted to juba juba plants that are drought tolerant and produce more biodiesel per acre.

3.       Farmers are selling their water rights for big dollars to sub-dividers, municipalities, and industries to meet the needs of expansion.

4.       Farmers are given green credits not to farm.  They are selling these credits for large profits to industries that use them.  The credits are used to reduce their mandated levels of pollution.  This is easier and less expensive than making the required expenditures to improve our air quality.

5.       Farming is being outsourced to other nations because labor and government restrictions are less of a problem.

6.       Cost of fuel, chemicals and equipment is 3-4 times more than it was 4 years ago.

We are now facing a combination of the following events that will likely occur:

1.       Drastically higher food costs

2.       Food shortages

3.       Water shortages

4.       Famine

5.       Interruption in our food supply for days, weeks and months.
