The New Mexico Annual Apple Growers Conference is scheduled for February 2, 2006 at the Santa Fe County Extension Office, Large Exhibit Hall, 3229 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 PM.  A lunch will be provided by our sponsor, Greg Alpers with Dow Agro Sciences.  Following the lunch we will have the annual meeting of the NM Apple Council. Pruning Workshop

 

A Pruning Workshop is scheduled for March 3, 2006.  The workshop will be a hands on demonstration at the Alcalde Science Center from 1:00-4:00 P.M.  We will prune all types of fruit trees, grapes and berries.  Bring pruning shears, gloves, etc. For more information call Ron Walser, Ext. New Mexico Organic Farming Conference

February 24 and 25, at the Le Baron Courtyard (near Menaul and I-25), Albuquerque.  Yes, the same dates as the Organic Conference, but hotels are close to each other, so you could go to sessions from both conferences.  Call Carl Popp 505-835-0263 or email him at flyfish@nmt.edu for more information.
